Requirements for Setting Up an International Business Company in St. Lucia

General
An International Business Company (an IBC) may be established in St. Lucia under the International Business Companies Act, No. 40 of 1999 (the Act) and regulations prescribed thereunder. An IBC may be established by incorporation of a new company or the redomiciliation of an existing company from another jurisdiction. The process of establishing an IBC in St. Lucia can only be undertaken by persons who are duly licensed under the Registered Agent and Trustee Licensing Act, 1999 as Registered Agents or Registered Trustees. A company once established must at all times be represented by a registered agent in St. Lucia whose address must also be the registered office of the company.
